Information Fluency
Students receive information, knowledge is built on the ability to unconsciously interpret all formats of this information. Students receive this information at a constant rate, being about to discuss, interpret and organize this information is a skill that must be taught.
Ask: Students need the ability to ask good questions.
Access and acquire: Students need the ability to know how and where to look for information.
Information can be text, graphical, and audio in nature.
Analyze & authenticate: Students need the ability to arrange information and determine what is good
or bad. They also need to be able recognize the truth from a bias.
Apply: Students need to be able to take their knowledge and place in the real world.
Assess: Students need to be able to assess products and the process to create those products.
