Collaboration Fluency

Collaboration Fluency is the ability to work with partners.

This is the ability students need to experience in real and virtual environments.  We need to practice traditional forms of communication but also embrace digital communications too.  Students need to know how to work with others, in social networks, the global marketplace, and in their daily life.  One way to thinks of success with collaborations is the 5 E's

Envision:  Students need the opportunity to examine issues, see the challenge and create a goal to solve the issues.  Students need to be able to think on their own and create successful outcomes.  They need to become "thinkers" rather than a replication of what their teachers have said.

Engineer:  Students have the opportunity to design a workable plan to achieve a plan.

Execute:  Students have the opportunity to but in place the action and  managing the process to complete a plan.

Examine:  Students consider the process and the outcome of a processfor areas of improvement.
