Productivity:

Knowing how to use our devices more effectively to actively connect to students will help teachers to have the knowledge for true differentiation for our students.  The following productivity tools can help organize your professional life.

Socrative

Quick, easy formative assessment.  Socrative turns all devices into FREE clickers.  Socrative helps teacher engage and assess the class on what students love the most, their own personal digital device.  There is also a website option if needed.

Teachers recieve real time feedback, though multiple choice, open response, and true/false options. Socrative tracks student performance and provides real-time data to help teachers, parents, schools and districts personalize and improve learning.

You can even add images to your questions!

Evernote

Evernote is a note taking app that syncs with Mac, PC, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows 7 phones, and the web.

You can take notes, add images, and even audio.  Evernotes lets you organize into notebooks, add tages, and have everything in your account and they are searchable as well.

You can even share notes by email, Facebook, and twitter.

Another thing that makes evernote great is the fact that you can share notebooks with others or make them public on the web for everyone to see.

Skitch

Skitch allows you to get your point across with few words using annotation, shapes, and sketchs.  You can create from scratch or annotate photos, maps, screenshotes, and webpages with text, arrows, and freehand drawing.  You can edit, recolor, and reposition your annotations until you have them just way you want.

Another great feature is that you can share your annotated files with others by email, twitter or save to evernote.

Screencasting:

Students and teachers can create videos by recording their voice and writing on a whiteboard.
Photos can be added as well.

Easy to Use.
