Create your own music video, simply by uploading your own images and selecting music. Students LOVE seeing themselves on the video. Limit of 30 seconds - so just short & sweet!
Animoto offers several pricing options for the average consumer, but educators get an all access pass, worth $30 a year, for free.
This will allow you to create an unlimited number of online slideshows that are not restricted in length.
So, to get started, you need to click here to get to the Animoto for Education sign up page. Fill in your name, grade level, email, and school on this page. Animoto will vet your details and send you a confirmation email to activate your education class account. This may take a week or more, so plan accordingly. Share the activation link you get with your students so that they too can sign up.

Create an Account with an easy to remember password

Choose a background

Add images, video files, text, spotlight (Import from Facebook, a file on your desktop, the web or use their collection)

Move your images around if necessary, or delete if needed

Add audio use one from their collection or an MP3 file from your Music folder.

Modify the settings, add additional information as needed

Animoto does the rest

Children under 13 aren't allowed to register. How then can I have my younger students use this program?
To ensure that your younger students are protected, we suggest that you come up with dummy e-mails for them that are under your control.
Teachers can do this through gmail.
Once you have that original e-mail address registered at Gmail.com, you can then register for your students who are under the age of 13 at site by entering the following e-mail addresses in the registration form.
Please make sure you are registering your students using the Classroom Code Link provided for you.
If you don't, then the students won't have All-Access.

All activity at our website under these accounts will be sent to your original, derivative e-mail (i.e. emailaddress@gmail.com). This way, you'll be able to give each student a unique Animoto account, while also being able to monitor their account's activity.
