About Middle School Mock Trial:

The Kentucky Middle School Mock Trial Tournament is recognized as one of the best law-related education programs. In 2007, The Honorable William G. Clouse, Jr. and his wife, Jane Clouse, had a dream to bring the the Kentucky High School Mock Trial Competition to the Middle School Level. Madison County Schools and the Madison County's Courts saw the value of such an opportunity for the students of Kentucky. Annually, the Madison County Community comes together to offer this opportunity to students from across Kentucky.

Madison County Schools will host the 14th annual Kentucky Middle School Mock Trial Competition on Friday, March 27, 2020. The trials will be held in Richmond, Kentucky. This competition requires the use of several courtrooms and many volunteers; thus, there is no weather alternate date plan for courtroom use, there will be an alternate date to TBA if needed. This will be on a Saturday, and will be in a school setting.

This competition is a one day event. School teams will participate in at least three rounds of competition.
