A music video is a short film integrating a song and imagery to create an artistic view of the meaning of the song/music.  Often music videos are made to market the artist.  Since the creation of YouTube the tradition music video of the MTV era.  Now video making can be created by anyone.

 

Music videos use a wide range of styles, including animation, live action filming, documentaries, narratives, etc.  Some videos blend all or some of these types in to one.
