Digital Storytelling is a form of sharing a story through digital means.  It allows storytelling to go to a new level of storytelling engagement.  Students can express their own writing peices through a variety of media.  Students write their own story and then uses digital tools to help bring their story to life.  Students can use any combination of music, sound effects, images, narrations, illustrations and more to presenta digital telling of their original story.  This category focuses on the story, the technology is the icing on a great cake.

 

Products can be as simple as the writer narrating their piece on video as they share their published eBook.  Or as complex as a movie of their written story.
